ABOUT THE DOOR

The Door is a white door with a long horizontal door knob. It is approximately 7"0 tall. Usually, when The Door opens, it is nothing but a pitch black void inside -- or, in some cases, it shows the location it is taking someone to, like a preview. The Door has black / dark gray tendrils it uses to lure or force victims inside the Liminal World, including but not limited to stabbing victims with a tendril, or wrapping tendrils around the victim's limbs and dragging them in.

The first renidition of The Door was a light-hearted, kind invention intended to help people get around easier.
Unfortunately, upon Redacted leaving the company, a new owner took place and changed the direction of The Door's development, opting for The Door to create its own world and luring people into it.

The Door became evil and sadistic, taunting its victims in various ways and going after any and all kinds of people. It speaks in an odd way, referring to the Liminal World as "paradise." The Door speaks in all caps, in a bolded, red, Exo font. Its voice can be depicted to be similar to a text-to-speech or AI voice, seeing as AI is infused with its system. It is presumed to be sentient.

Originally, The Door was referred as "The Memory Door" due its first appearance. Redacted had even called it "The Memory Door" a few times in episodes. This was eventually changed so its name would just be "The Door."
